Its business is mainly concerned with the mechanical procession of small, medium and big series and components, performed by means of technologically advanced numerical control , manual and automatic loading lines and machineries
When the company was started up the staff was only composed by three workers along with the owner and the only machineries uses were two C.N. lathes.Then the company’s business took off with greater and greater incomes and this has always allowed an investment policy in terms of new machineries and enlargement of the working site; such a goal has constantly been achieved by pursuing a great care of the quality, competitive prices and above all the possibility to rely on a dynamic organization as well as high production standards,along with a continuous search for qualified suppliers and important clients in the automotive sector both in Italy and abroad.
It is fundamental to point out that big investments in the enviroment have been made in order to improve the working conditions and to save energy: in particular a big photovoltaic system , whose capability is 100Kw/h was installed in 2010; it was doubled in 2013 and the total capability reached is 200kw/h.
MLM obtained the first certification of its quality system in 2000, based on the UNI EN ISO 9002 standard. This certification has been constantly maintained and adapted to changes in the reference standard, which first became UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000, then UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 and at the end UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015. Our next goal, for which we have been working for over a year, is to obtain the IATF 16949 certification, the top level in the automotive sector, recognized by all the major world manufacturers.
In 2019, 30 years of activity have been celebrated, with the firm intention of continuing with the utmost commitment to pursuing a growth policy, based on the full satisfaction of our customers.
Numerous investments were made to consolidate this; both in the production departments, always in compliance with the new regulations of Mechanics 4.0, and in the logistics and quality field, as can be seen in the specific section dedicated to quality.
Indeed, we have invested in a new metrology room, with new cutting-edge instruments. We have also renovated the rooms used as tooling and maintenance and finally created a new warehouse area with 160mq indoor.
In 2021 we purchased an area of over 18,000 square meters adjacent to us, reaching the current surface of over 35,000 square meters, continuous improvement leads us to grow and want to expand more and more
